sport fishing in Miami, the Bahamas, and the Florida Keys. No matter your

Our Packages
Full Day of Fishing
10 hours; 7am - 5pm $1100.00

Location: A full day Fishing Charter will cover from Key Biscayne to 25
miles offshore and as far South as upper Key Largo these are the uninhabited
areas of the upper Florida Keys, part of the US Park System. Please contact
us for further information.
Catch: In the fall you will catch Sailfish, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, King
Mackerel, Snapper, Grouper. In the winter months, NW. winds bring large amounts of Sailfish to
the edge of the Gulf Stream only 3 miles offshore, and Black Grouper to the
Reefs, and winter Kings also show up. Cobia move at this time and are taken
on light Tackle and Fly Rod by sight fishing. In the spring, Sailfish are
still around in great numbers and it’s not uncommon to catch up to 15 in a
single day these fish are around into mid June. Large Black fin Tuna (25lb
to 40lb) are abundant at this time.

 Large Amberjacks are on the wrecks
(30lbs to 80lbs). Swordfish trips are available either by day or night, at a
full day’s rate. Summer is the time for Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, Blue
Marlin, White Marlin. In August Sailfish balling large schools of Sardines
are caught in large numbers offshore.
All Blue Marlin, White Marlin and Sailfish on the Sonny Boy are always
released. Pictures and Measurements can provide a Trophy, while preserving
these beautiful fish.
Half Day of Fishing
5 hours; 7am - 12 noon or 12:30 - 5:30pm. Call for quotes and availability.
Location: Not an early riser, just want a little afternoon fishing. We offer
half day trips to the Miami and Key Biscayne areas. Just the right amount of
fun and sun.
Catch: Experience catching Sailfish on light tackle as well as King
Mackerel, Bonita, Black Fin Tuna, Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi,
Barracuda, and many other species.
Keys and Bahamas
Trips to the Bahamas are available at the day rate plus expenses, fuel,
dockage, customs fees. These trips include fishing Bimini Island, Chub Cay,
Harbor Island, Marsh Harbor, Treasure Cay, Nassau, West End, and Freeport.
Locations: The Florida Keys and The Bahamas offer World Class Sport fishing.
In fact, Islamorada is known as the Sport fishing Capitol of the World. We
at Sonny Boy are pleased to design a custom fishing experience for these
destinations to ensure the trip of a lifetime.
Available Game: When Charter fishing the Bahamas you will catch Blue Marlin, White
Marlin, Blue Fin Tuna, Wahoo, Yellow Fin Tuna, Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton
Snapper, Black Grouper and many others.
Tournament Fishing

Miami is the Sailfish Capitol when it comes to Tournaments, starting with
the Kickoff Tournaments in December then the Mayors Cup and 6 other
Tournaments ending with the Miami Billfish Tournament. Whether you’re a
seasoned veteran or rookie, the Sonny Boy is available to Charter for
Tournaments.
All licenses, bait, tackle, ice, instruction and advice are included. All
you bring is your food and drink and let us show you a great time fishing.
Or, if you prefer, for an additional fee, we will provide food and drinks.
